GPS Issues Last Week impacting Garmin (and others)

If anyone was having issues with punching last week using MapRunG it may well have been caused by a GPS offset issue for watches using the Sony Chipset (which would include most over the last few years excluding the latest 2022 models). DCrainmaker explains what was going on here (along with the easy fix if still occurring):
