Problem with uploading results from Garmin when using MaprunG

When attempting to upload results from Garmin after running a course with MaprunG.
Error message explains that there is now a problem with Garmin FIT files, so Maprun suggests you could upload track from Garmin - but this is greyed out.
I was also unable to upload track from Strava - it just said I had not started.
I have managed to upload my GPX file once I got home and used a laptop.
I don't understand why Maprun needs to use a FIT file from Garmin - couldn't it just use the GPX file?

Sorry to hear of the issues.

The issue may be related to Garmin requiring OAuth2 for authentication (rather than the older OAuth1).

Please log out and log back into Garmin from with MapRun > Options/Settings.

Regarding GPX file vs FIT files. The Garmin watch actually only exports a FIT file. Apps like Garmin Connect and Strava (and MapRun) extract the GPS component of the FIT file to produce a GPX file.
