Short delay from vibrate until beep at control

Hi, I did my first maprun yesterday. At every control there was a delay of several seconds from a buzz/vibration as I approached the control to the beep. Is this normal? Do I need to wait for the beep before leaving the control or did the original buzz do the punching?

Sorry to hear of the issue. I haven't seen that problem before.

It's almost as if the phone is very busy and so it is delayed in processing the punch. Maybe reboot the phone and try again.
