Strava Upload, zero points

klous-1
When trying to upload a Strava track to the results of an event, the process works to a point, the route loads, the controls all show up for selection etc.  However, when I click one of the controls, no score points are added to the tally.

Using V7.4.1

As a sidenote, the reason I needed to do this is the app was no longer tracking GPS (GPS accuracy red) despite the GPS working fine at the start of the event (up until a specific control point).  The phone's GPS was working fine in other apps.  There doesn't seem to be a clear way to get out of the app to resume an event, without losing the data and being unable to restart (now far from S1).

Klous,

Sorry to hear of the problem.

Can you please email more details to support@maprun.net. (Which event, runner's name, is this a "first-time" use of MapRun on that phone?, and if the track has not been uploaded please email the GPX track exported from Strava).

The Admin/Organiser for the Event can always correct your score after the event (even if you can't get it to come out correctly). It is often caused by not getting a punch on S1 or something similar.

On your second point... MapRun records your progress to a database as you go, so no data should be lost if you need to kill the App (swipe it away, like you would to kill any other App). When you restart MapRun, it checks to see if there was an un-finished event, and offers you the option to "Resume" that event from where you left off.

Anyway please send some more details.

Peter
