If you use the recommended QR Codes, when they are read by a generic QR Code reader (eg the camera app in your device), they should take you to the webpage that has the install links for iOS and Android.

Thanks for the info on onelink.to.... I'll check that out.

What I am planning is the ability to open MapRun6 from a URL, such that MapRun6 automatically opens a specific event. This URL should then be usable in a QR code as well.

The aim is that, a Club could provide a link directly to a specific event from their website (or a QRcode) - tapping this link in a browser on your mobile device should open MapRun6 with that event selected.
