Maprun won't sync Garmin

I recently ran a PeakRaid event using MapRun. The course synced from the app to my Garmin fenix5. Everything went swimmingly - I ran the event, the controls pinged and the event saved to my Garmin Connect l and Strava accounts. However, when I try to download the track to MapRun and the PeakRaid results page it says that the track doesn't exist. I've tried to downloaded the track from my Strava account - it wants a 4 number lock code which isn't the event pin. I'm at a loss - any ideas?
PS The privacy settings for the event have be set to public - so I don't think to that's the issue but
