Good news.

It appears that Garmin Connect is now online with a limited capacity and will start to fully return later today. Strava are however reporting that uploads and syncs could be queued, which could take over a week because of the volume.

It does appear that the workaround by Peter could well be a good shout for the current time, if the impacts will be felt for some days to come.
