2 lap course

Has anyone tried to set up a two lap linear course successfully, such that the controls have to be visited in order say 1-20, but you visit 1-10 on lap 1 and 11-20 on lap 2 and it effectively discounts the fact that you visited 11-20 on lap 1 already and 1-10 on lap 2? Trying to replicate a 2-lap parkrun course as a linear without allowing participants to 'cheat' and go to the finish after lap 1 having completed all the controls already?
